THE REAL RISK WITH AI IN REAL ESTATE ISN’T THAT PEOPLE WON’T USE IT.

The real risk with AI in real estate isn’t that people won’t use it.

It’s that they’ll use it badly.

There’s no shortage of platforms, apps, AI tools, and systems coming into the industry at the moment. Some are genuinely useful. Some probably create more noise than value.

Where I think people can get stuck is when technology starts feeling overwhelming instead of helpful.

At Raine & Horne - NRG Realty Ltd, one of the things we focus on is helping salespeople use technology in practical ways without feeling like they need to become IT experts.

That might be using AI tools to work smarter. It might be digital listing presentations that create a better experience for vendors. Or it might just be helping someone feel more confident using systems they’ve never worked with before.

I think modern real estate absolutely needs technology, but I also think people still matter most.

The best systems are usually the ones working in the background making things smoother for clients and easier for salespeople.

Technology should support people, not intimidate them.

That’s probably one of the biggest shifts I think the industry is still working through.

How are you finding the balance between technology and relationships in real estate at the moment?
